Conservative thinker Michael Ledeen holds the Freedom Chair at the American Enterprise Institute, but prefers the term “democratic revolutionary” to “neoconservative.” He discusses the current and future U.S. policy toward Iran, arguing that the United States should encourage change from within the country, rather than launching an all-out attack.

Fareed Zakaria stands respectably among the few moderate intelligent voices that manages to permeate America’s mainstream press. An archive of his published articles can be found HERE
The article the propelled him to the forefront of the marketplace of ideas in American dialogue of international affairs (to the extent to which that exists) was published shortly after September 11.
