You need to demonstrate your support for your chosen candidate by creating a one-page, single-spaced editorial in his (her?) support. This editorial should not only boast the virtues of your candidate, it should also speak to the relative weaknesses of the other candidates.

    1. Your editorial must have a specific, refutable and complex thesis.
    2. Your editorial must be posted in this section. You must also submit a paper copy to me.

An overview of the Catalan proportional representation electoral system is presented here. Though I can’t vouch for the site, it seems legitimate insofar as the site is maintained by Manuel Alvarez (who participated as an observer at the invitation of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Elections Commission. I assume if a government invites one to oversee elections…).
